Now the weather is really hotting up why not come along to the shop and take a look at our fabulous selection of cotton and linen fabrics. Perfect for those long hot summer days. We also have a good selection of dress making patterns to choose from and excellent staff to help you make the right choice.

Once you have chosen your pattern and fabric why not come along to our Monday Evening Sewing Club. You will meet like minded people and Sue Taylor will be there to offer encouragement and advice. 6.30-9pm.

Regular Clubs

Just a reminder that as well as great workshops we also run regular clubs at times and days, we hope, are a little more convenient for you. Every Monday evening from 6.30-9pm Sue Taylor runs The Sewing Club. This is a chance for you to come along and work on a project, whether you need help or encouragement or just want to be with like minded people. The class costs £15 plus materials. Sue also runs The Free Motion Machine Embroidery Club on Wednesday evenings 6.30-9pm, £15 plus materials. Mary Lambert runs a Crochet Club on Saturday afternoons for all levels this club costs £10 for 2 hours, times vary. Booking on all clubs essential. You will also receive 10% discount any purchases made whilst attending one of our clubs

Seren Dress

Looking forward to a dress making day. Today I am starting on the Seren Dress by Tilly and the Buttons. I am using a medium weight indigo stripped denim. Just need some warmer weather now.
